Force yourself to have a second chance?

So I royally screwed up on an interview for a Asset Management position some time ago. I've managed to keep in touch with HR. But the job is now re-posted on their web site.

I'm thinking about contacting HR again, but if they dinged me already, would it just be perceived as annoying rather than persistent?

How would you (or rather, how should I) play this?

The worse that can happen is that , you will not get the job and be perceived as annoying. The best that can happen is you will get the job and will be perceived as persistent. This is a no brain er, you cant stop trying because someone will perceive you as xxxx.

You got nothing to loose, definitely give it a shot.

Was in a similar situation on my internship. I interviewed and totally bombed the interview, came back the next year and nailed it. Don't have much to lose in trying.

But would u go with a "pitch" or just be honest and lay it out that you still want the gig and that you'd like another shot at it? It seems like a give away but the pitch is the more aggressive approach and you really want to convince them of your drive.

"I respect your courage for coming this far alone! However, you are still going to die!"
