Fp&a or ib, which job offer would you take?
Hi, I currently work in corp. finance in CEE region, the goal is to get a job in m&a in London. I have two job offers:
a) Fp&a job in London for large logistics company, job entails preparing reports on business unit performance for cfo, also budgeting.
b) renewable m&a job in the small city in CEE region. The company is big player in the local market but not that well known in the UK.
Should I take option a) work for ~1-2 years, get Masters and try to break in as associate or should I take option b) work for ~2 years and try to leverage m&a work exp. in a small market. Which path would be easier?
what would you do?
thanks
