Freelance Advice
Dear WSO Community,
I'm looking to find some freelance work.
I have been, and continue to, send proposals on UpWork, but have not had any luck. The few times I have connected with someone, it has been about a full-time job.
I'm basically looking for any advice people have done to land short-term gigs.
My skillset is financial modeling, corporate finance (advisory), and market research (including investment memorandums).

I'd advise that you check the subreddit called r/Upwork. There's a lot of gems on their wiki. You can also search the sub for questions relating to your niches or you can ask this question there.
