Freshman looking for some advice

Hello WSO

I am Freshman at Bentley University (non-target by Boston) looking for internship opportunities for the summer. I've come up with a list of boutiques that I plan to cold email and will do the same for PWM. But after looking over my resume I'm starting to feel really discouraged over my credentials. I ended the semester with a weak at 3.5 and I haven't really found any activities at school that has sparked my interest yet. With this in mind, I feel like my resume will be very weak. To make things worse, my school requires first years to take introductory business courses in accounting and finance. Basically learning to read and prepare financial statements and journal entries. But this was the class I did the worst in with a 3.0. I may be eager, but I feel like I'd be wasting other people's time.
