Real short, how do freshman search fund interviews go? I have a couple small PE firms lined up, and wish to do IB in the long run.

This is wholly dependent on the firm, but I applied to a couple and was asked questions about my resume, what my plans in finance were, and some simple questions about what I thought about markets. This is a freshman internship, so they won't be tough questions.

What do you suggest I do my freshman summer?
its corona so not much, but in normal circumstances would say look for something paid with the exception of IB boutiques(usually unpaid). PWM, corporate finance, even being a camp counselor are good frosh experiences(anything with teamwork or finance, preferably both)
research with professors, personal projects, classes are all things you can do during coronavirus summer.
I guarantee your peers are doing nothing at all so dont worry if things dont work out
