Hi,
I've worked in a front office environment for a few years now, mostly assisting various groups within both front office and back office, with technology problems. I would describe my role as front office technology, always trying to make things easier and adaptive to operations and traders. Some things can be macro based, some can be .NET framework based.
I think I've outgrown my role, but aren't sure what paths the current road will take me. I believe technology projects would be one, are there any others?
I am also currently in the midst of pursing my CFA designation. Are there any roles that use both finance and technology?
