Frustrated with Internship....need advice

So I started an unpaid internship that was scheduled to go from the beginning of March to the end of April and after a month I can't even think about going back for another day. There's very little work for me to do and I spend most of the day performing menial tasks. I'm not really learning anything useful here and I've tried asking for more interesting work but they said they have nothing to give me. I don't really see any point of being here and I'm thinking of just quitting. Anyone have any advice?

What details are you looking for? I spend most of the day doing tasks like merging spreadsheets, the office is really quite with very little going on.

Just make sure by the end of the internship you have learned what you were supposed to learn if there was actually work available. I mean, learn your modelling. Do some case studies as if you were given them as work assignments. Sounds like you have a lot of time on your hand. Use it and learn. And if not, PM me. I'm sure I can find somebody who'd even pay to have your spot.

I am in a similar situation. I started in mid-Feb and I absolutely dislike the culture of the firm, and I don't like the work that I have to do. I am trying to figure out how to quit without ruining future background checks or them leaving a bad remark about me.
