FT Opportunities for HF SA

Hi Guys- I've been following this site for awhile, but this is actually my first post. I'm currently a junior at a solid liberal arts college, but I'm spending the full year studying abroad at LSE in England. The recruiting process for SA was difficult for me coming from a non-target and being abroad for the whole year, however, I was lucky enough to land an internship at a top hedge fund (along the lines of a Brevan, Tudor or Moore) in the US through a close alumni contact. I understand it isn't as solid as a IB SA, but I am happy to get this opportunity considering I'm at a non-target and have no prior internship experience.

I actually have some pretty solid networking contacts through alumni or friends, but I was wondering what you guys thought my best shot FT opportunities would be in (the HF does not hire out of undergrad for FO positions). I know FT recruiting is even more difficult, but would an internship at a hedge fund like the ones above open up interview possibilities with BB or MM IB FT positions, or S&T FT jobs? Just wanted to hear your guys feedback, as I am in a bit of a unique situation coming from a non-target, but would interning at a top HF open up some doors? Thanks in advance!

It's hard to say, considering I have no previous internship experience. I would be very interested in working at a PE or HF down the road, but the HF does not offer FT opportunities to interns
