Full time offer at a less known boutique IB vs off cycle internship at an elite boutique (both in london)?
Worried that the off cycle internship won't convert considering a recession looms and M&A activity is declining

Career Resources
Honestly, if the lesser known is not random then go for that one. When banks are slashing headcount left and right, 6 months is a long time to be wondering if there is going to be a job.
Besides, all July recruiting is pretty much done for FT, so not much you could do if not given an offer other than pray for something decent to come up somehow
Wdym July recruiting so like FT?
Arma? FT Partners?
Not them, but on similar lines. Not very tech M&A heavy
All depends on your risk appetite. Last year I had a FT offer at HL and a summer offer at a BB (MS / GS). Went with the BB as felt I’d always regret having not given it a go and didn’t want to have to go through the lateraling process. Was also confident I’d convert and I did. I’d still make the same decision today despite market conditions. If you think you’ll be a top bucket intern then you’ll convert or at least should have a good chance.
CF team at HL? if so i would’ve def gambled as well
