General question about resume - can you add this under "Experience"?

I am in graduate school for finance and had several years of work experience before returning to school. I'm part of my university's investment fund where I do a lot of work related to investment research. Can I add this experience in the same section along with the other jobs that I held? The section is titled "Experience", not "Work Experience". I do feel that having it there makes my resume look more relevant because I worked some odd jobs that I want to downplay.

It's technically not experience as experience is talking about jobs. This would be more under extra curriculars or leadership roles

No it's fine to have under experience since you're upfront about it being a student fund and don't try to claim it's something it is not.

You're resume is confusing. Are you in grad school or not? You said so in your first post but it's not listed on your resume.
