Go to NY for ~month for FT 2027 Networking?

I have a couple weeks between the end of my S&T summer analyst stint in LA and the start of my senior year. My ultimate goal after graduation is to work in IB in NY. Is there any value in being in-person to network, prep for interviews, and apply for positions? Alternative would be to stay at home, where I'd save some money but don't feel I'd be as focused.
