Going for chicago banks(bb/eb/mm) from Emory?
Originally from Chicago. I'm asking this because there is so few alum. Are chicago bb/ebs possible and how should I approach this?

Transfer to uchicago or northwestern, banks give out supers like candy to kids from both schools
Thanks will be doing that, but if that doesn’t work out, what the process from there?
find ppl in chicago who were in same hs, same activities, etc. outside of NYC regional offices care about connection to the area
Chicago recruiting is heavily dominated by schools near the region (UChicago/Northwestern/ND/UMich/WashU) and other Ivy Leagues. As someone said, you could try to transfer to these schools for better Chicago recruitment. I don't think it's worth it unless you are putting all your efforts into Chicago IB recruiting. If that doesn't work out, you could network with people with similar backgrounds. Emory's brand is strong enough to get looks from Chicago IB, but it will be more difficult than the schools mentioned above.
