Goldman Operations or Deloitte Advisory?

I currently have two offers for summer internships. One is in Deloitte AERS Advisory. The other is Goldman Sachs Operations. Which one would better to have on my resume for graduation? I realize Goldman Sachs is a better name but I've heard mixed opinions about working in operations. Any input would be great.

What are you looking to do after graduation? If you are looking into S&O management consulting, operations would be good to know if you are going into project management.

If you are going into investment banking, I would go into Deloitte advisory over operations at any BB. You can have a great story if you are doing an advisory internship over operations at any BB.

^^ sounds like a solid strategy. Networking within a company into a different position (AERS to consulting or BO to FO) is made to sound easy. What maters (in addition to skill and knowledge, obviously) is networking, and this can be done whether you are in the organization or industry or not. I think what was mentioned in the comment above is good advice as it's easier to BS and sell what you did at a different company than come in to an interview with the interviewers having a preconceived idea of what you did at their place.
