jasper90I am currently applying for some SA positions, but then I noticed, they had me select 3 locations and a division at the location. So does this mean, they only allow you to apply for 3 places?

you sure it's your best strategy to apply for as many positions as possible? maybe pick one and make a good case why you like this one.

1st - I think you are applying a bit too early? It's the beginning of October.

2nd - Why 3 positions? It's best to just pick one. One per firm.

No there's a code you can input to allow a dropdown option of 8

There's also a cheat code that toggles a pop-up window with a picture of His Royal Highness, Lord Blankfein of Bronx's phallus

jasper90I want to apply to all the same position/division, but I just had no preference for location
Think it through - you definitely have a preference. Do you want to be sweating all day? Dallas. Do you want to be sweating all day and have the convenience of public transportation? New York. Think it through.

Ahh, true, yes, good public transportation is a factor I didnt think. I dont plan on having a car, so that would be good.

But, I was also thinking, NY would be the most competitive to get accepted to(but I have no clue). Would you agree the competition is much harder in NY and LA, or mainly just NY?

Of course, everyone wants to be in NY. But there are also far fewer spots in offices outside of the The City. Less interest for non-NYC offices. Few spots at non-NYC offices. Seems like equal competition when you look at it that way. Proportions, man.
