Got the SA job but struggling to find something part time.

Junior that did a HF internship and upcoming internship at an EB. I’m broke so need a job but don’t want to work in the dining hall/student-athlete tutor anymore. I’ve been blasting finance related firms in my area but am having no luck. I was wondering if anyone has experience recruiting for a term time analyst position and how best to navigate finding a firm that will hire you as a part-time employee. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

note: I’m not in NYC/SF/LA

Reach out to local family offices and investment firms. Cold calls or even showing up to their office fo inquire a part time position.

Worked for me junior year: Showed up to a small family office and introduced myself out of the blue, talked about what interested me about their strategy and sold myself. Dropped off my resume and a couple days later they called me to sort something out.

Pay was low ( $12 / hour), however it got me through junior year and was a great experience
