GPA drop below 3.5 after accepting SA and after background check?

GPA was high when I accepted the offer. Slacked off way too much junior year (with harder classes; really bad idea) and my GPA will now be somewhere between a 3.4 and 3.5.

I already passed the background check, so assuming I get a return this will be a non-issue right? Will take a lot of easier classes senior year to bring it up. I also assume that this would fuck me if I needed to do FT recruiting?

They won't rescind offer or not give you a return bc of it, as long as the GPA was accurate when you applied the 3.5 is more of a soft interview cutoff than a minimum to work there. Although that will definitely hurt you for FT recruiting so try to just get an offer.

Would also do everything you can to make sure senior year goes well, graduating with a 3.4 will hurt your PE and MBA chances if either is important to you
