Graduate Student seeking advice

Hi everyone,

I am an incoming Master's student at Baruch College studying Finance. I just wanted to know how does the typical IB recruiting look like for my situation.

Upon graduation from my bachelors I did an internship at a municipal debt issuer and then proceeded to work at an Investment bank for 3 months.

The program that I would be attending is 3 semesters (Fall and Spring and then a Summer session). From what I know, if I start recruiting now, do I still have a shot? I can always defer my summer session into a fall session.

I know typically in NYC, Baruch student has had a decent shot at making into IB and alumni are usually very willing to help.

Should I try for SA 2024 at this point or should I just stick it and go down the FT analyst path.

Any comments or tips would be greatly appreciated.
