Yes.. Happened to me when I applied online and had someone on the inside set up an interview.. Quite funny how the black hole (job portal) works.
Yes happened many times. Sometimes even after speaking to recruiters and then asking me to send my resume and further discussing the role and coming the decision that the job isnt for me, I still get a rejection email LOL
I can't imagine this happening to me. I would flip..
