Have a strong resume and on a really good path but want to just leave it all, thoughts?

Hey guys super conflicted.

I graduated from Stanford undergrad and went straight to GS TMT in NYC and am currently a first year (I become an analyst 2 in July), I am heavily considering leaving the industry all together after I collect my bonus in 1 month. I really want to just be able to play videogames whenever I want and not stress about work at all..

I just hate how intense the job is, the stress is way too much for me and makes me so unhappy- Realizing this, I don’t want PE or HF (I would get killed in those roles if I couldn’t even handle the stress of banking). I get constant anxiety attacks and am nauseous 24/7 in this job, I am realizing it just is not for me and I want to leave finance completely.

My only problem is I realize that If I make this decision to leave now, I can never really “re-join”, correct? I can’t come back to banking, rerecruit for PE, HF, etc. What would I do? I can’t code, I have no other skills lmao.

Anyone in a similar spot? Was on a good trajectory and want to just gtfo? What other jobs can I consider?

trust me eat doritos and living in your parents basement playing fortnite is much better. instead of bonuses you get vbucks. The work life balance is better. Instead of annoying management you got to deal with stupid kids on voice chat

Being a bum gets old real fast lol. Just find work you like, if your resume is that good you can snipe any job.
