Hedge fund response

Hi guys. I recently mailed the director of a hedge fund that I became aware of while interning in ER last year about possible opportunities. This is the response:

"we don't have any positions available at this time but keep in touch.

Next time you are in ___ feel free to get in touch and maybe you can drop by the office."

What is a good interpretation of this? Is it a good or bad sign?

Thanks

Wow, as an educated adult with a brain, you can't figure out if this is a good or bad sign?

"Look, you're my best friend, so don't take this the wrong way. In twenty years, if you're still livin' here, comin' over to my house to watch the Patriots games, still workin' construction, I'll fuckin' kill you. That's not a threat, that's a fact.

Imagine you saw a picture of a hot guy/girl on the internet, you stalked them on Facebook and then you IMed them asking them out for a date.

Imagine you got a response like the following:

"I have a boyfriend at the moment but keep in touch.

Next time you are in ___ feel free to get in touch and maybe we can meet up with my friends. If I'm not washing my hair."

What's your interpretation? Is this a good sign or a bad sign?

Those who can, do. Those who can't, post threads about how to do it on WSO.
