HF interview, follow up with test results

Hi Wall Street Oasis,

I'm heading into third interview for this quant megafund at which I have a strong desire to work in. After the first two rounds, I've already gotten a rough feel of their strategies and culture. I picked up that the interviewer stressed the work will be deadline intensive.

What you think of my plan for the third interview. Prior to the interview, I'll research, code and backtest a strategy similar to theirs. Then following the interview, ASSUMING I do well, I'll email the interviewer my results to emphasize 1) I can work on short deadlines and 2) I know trading techniques that complement theirs.

A good or bad move?
