High school kid with no idea what to do

Hi, I'm a junior in one of the specialized HS in nyc. A 95 weighted average and 1460 sat score isn't competitive to get even many semi targets from what I understand.

I want to know of any career path that has high (6 figure in NYC) salary out of college . I have a shitty situation now where my parents are retiring soon and couldn't afford to save (dad went through cancer and paraplegia, explaining both financial situation and why my grades are lower than they should be).

Is there any career path that offers a good salary like that, that isn't extremely difficult to crack into? IB for example sounds nice but going to a semi-target b-school probably won't get me in from what I understand. I'd hate to go to a b-school, not get any IB job and be screwed with a shitty low paying job. Is there a non-IB career path for finance students, with ample job openings where anyone can get in, and pays well? Tech also, seeing the insane amounts of qualified applicants for FAANG means I probably don't have a shot with that either, so is graduating from a mediocre school with a tech degree offer any high chances of making good money out of college?

sorry if I sound entitled or bratty or anything, out of the gate
