HKUST MS Finance versus CUHK MS Data Science

hi all. I am uncertain what I need to do. I received a BBA in accounting from nontarget US school 22. I received MBA in Management Info systems from nontarget school at 29. I was fortunate enough to overcome the fact i went to nontarget schools. I made a mistake and jumped to a really bad job. Lost the job. I came back to HK to try to do something else. I was working in computer financial systems, improving processes and getting data for management. Now I want to do better in HK. I have been accepted into HKUST MS Finance program and CUHK MS data science program. I know HKUST is much, much better than CUHK and should be the obvious choice. However, I am 39 years old. When i graduate with a Finance degree, I am told that my new degree would be in a field different from my work experience, and thus make it difficult for me. Employers would be more interested in hiring younger employees with less baggage. If I go to CUHK, i can get into statistics, and learn skills that complement what I do now. Any thoughts? All information would be most appreciated.
