How big is this Finance world in the United States?
Like how many student/professionals are aspiring/working for the actual careers that are discussed on this website (Investment Banking, Private Equity, Venture Capitalism, Consulting, etc.)
Is it 1 million?
10 million?
100 million? etc.
I would say like 500k. Even that may be high considering how many "middle/back office" (not client facing) jobs there are. The only way you would come close to 1 million is if you count Edward Jones and the such as high finance/consulting jobs.
