How Can I Find Open Roles That Aren’t Posted Online? - Senior looking for advice
I am a veryhard-working senior at non- target looking for FT roles. I have been networking since august, and had a few superdays but could not convert and then an offer pulled due to headcount so wondering if there is any spots opening up between now and may. When networking, I heard about a couple of "under the table" openings, and I wanted to learn how I can come across these opportunities more often and get involved in the processes.
How do i reach back out to my contacts to see if they are hiring and keep me front of mind? Cheers!
Junior bankers won’t know about these roles - more likely need to speak to someone VP level or above.
My advice would be to try and target more senior bankers (VP+). If most of your contacts are Analysts, ask them to intro you to an Associate, then after your call with the Associate ask for an intro to a VP.
