Bump. there is virtually no literature on this from what ive been looking for. Anyone have any idea. Is it a shitshow? if you have a decent position locked up does that make it easier?

path less traveled

I have no experience recruiting FT BB/EB after SA elsewhere, but the common rhetoric is that it's notoriously difficult – I might suggest that there actually is a ton of info on this site about recruiting FT BB/EB after SA at a MM or smaller boutique; there seems to be a yearly FT recruiting thread on WSO. I know at my EB FT recruits are a tiny number (most of whom already had established contacts with the firm). You're going to have to lean pretty heavily on your network (+ have a good story as to why you are switching firms, have a return offer on hand...) as most analyst classes are SA conversions.

If you mean switching firms once people are already exiting after the two year stint, I would imagine it would be much easier.
