How do I transition from a L4 Google SWE to a quantitative analyst or trader on wall street?

Hello,
I'm a 26-year-old working for Google as a software engineer for the last four years. I graduated from a shitty college with a B.s in Computer science with a 3.9 GPA. I'd like to make the switch because I feel like I'm getting bored of my current job as it's getting boring, and my salary increases in small increments. I'll make about 280K in total for this year, and although this is amazing for someone my age, I feel like I'll get fired soon as I'm not performing very well recently due to how monotonous it is. I may get quite a lot of shit for saying that, but hey, it's my opinion, fuck you. Anyways, the reason why I'd like to make the switch is because I have a friend who works at two-sigma as a quantitative analyst, and honestly, the things that he does on a daily basis, from what he's told me, seem very interesting. I'm very interested in probability and statistics, which means I don't think I'll burn out due to the heavy math aspect of the job. Another thing is the pay; he's the same age as me but makes about 400K+, which is outrageous for a 26-year-old. So I'd like to know what it is I can do to make this transition. All input would be greatly appreciated.
