How do non-EU applicants get a position after undergrad?

Hi Everyone,

This is my first post on WSO, so forgive me if I forget to add anything. I'm currently finishing my bachelor's in an EU target, with a GPA of around 9.1/10 (converted), and I've gotten more than 700 rejections applying for various positions in EU. I'm most interested in Structured Finance or DCM, and I am not sure how to proceed next. I have one irrelevant internship in Treasury at a commercial bank. I am not currently enrolled in a master's program, but I will apply (target schools) if I don't find anything in the meantime. I have never reached even interview stage, and I think the issue might be my non-EU status, but I am not sure at this point. If anyone can give me any feedback/advice I would greatly appreciate it.

Regards,
