How do you get a banker to 'fast forward' your application?
Hi, I've been networking with alumni from my university. I've also applied for internships at the same bank that they work in. I was just wondering, how do you go about trying to ask them to get your application through to the next stage?
If a bank is hiring a whole intern/analyst class, there's a timing expectation that you won't be able to "fast forward." If they're only hiring 1-5 people, then your resume may be put on the short list (provided you're a strong candidate). Just don't be annoying but definitely follow up on any emails they send back.
