How do you respond if a random stranger you met in real life asked you to help him get a job at the firm you work at?
If you are at a bar with your co-workers. A random stranger overhears your conversations and finds out that you guys are investment bankers. The stranger says, "I want to be an investment banker too!" and he ask ya'll to help him get a job at your firm(which already has a extremely competitive application pool and screening process). How do you respond to that stranger? You don't even work in HR and make any hiring decisions...
honestly just keep it real with him and tell him that you don't work with HR and that you don't have any influence in the hiring process
