How does bucketing work?
How does bucketing work for bonuses generally? Id it like a bellcurve system where you can ranked against your team peers or rest of bank peers? Or is it just performance based overall?
For example if you have strong ratings, but worse than someone on your team, can you still get a top bucket bonus?

It’s group based, so all relative to the other analysts on your team. That’s why there are buckets.
My staffer said it’s mostly about your work quality/how good you did on the stuff you were on, not as much about closing/working on a ton of deals.
