How does networking actually help you secure offers at top BBs or MBBs?
I'm a prefrosh and not too informed on how recruiting works, but to my understanding these top firms have very structured recruiting pipelines and select people for interviews based on their resumes, so how would networking with an MBB consultant or BB analyst actually help you in anyway? Would it just be putting a good word in so you get selected for interview? How would it work?
