how everyone tried everything already?

This is not a rant. Just an inquiry as to how everyone without a FT offer is holding up. I go to a "semi-target" with decent grades and decent internship experiences (though no IBD).

Very few firms are coming this year on campus. Applied to a bunch of places online but have never heard back. Called up a lot of alums and they agreed to push resume through. But seeing how all the BBs have conducted their first rounds/superdays, I dont know how useful calling alums are at this point.

Any suggestions? What are you guys doing for job search?

well you missed the train didn't you. make sure you have some job lined up. The way it works is there are other people (maybe from better schools with better grades/exp) that have already started looking for the next best thing after BB IBD, and the next best thing after that.

You don't want to be late for the "nex best thing" and late again for the "next best thing after that".

you applied online on the website or through your campus career center?

if it was through your campus career center and did not receive any first round interviews... you should definitely reassess your profile and see if you're truly a fit for IBD
