How long is it normal to wait after a first round?
I had a first round interview over 3 weeks ago for a FT IB job, and HR told me last week that the team is still deliberating. Is this normal? I figured that it shouldn't take this long just to screen candidates to go to another round. Would it be weird if I email the person that interviewed me? He works in a different office than the one I'm being considered, so I'm not sure how much he would know.
