I left my old team on really good terms, and the Director and VP sincerely encouraged me to stay in touch. They also told me reach out if I ever need them for referrals, provided their personal numbers, etc. My transfer was internal but to a different floor, so I still see them around the office.
How long do you all suggest waiting before properly catching up with them? 1 month? 3 months? 6 months? Also, any thought process behind the recommendations would be helpful.
