Worth it to do Cambridge master’s from semi-target undergrad?
I’m a recent graduate from a semi-target university in the UK, with a first class degree in economics. I recently completed an equity research internship at a MM bank but didn’t end up getting a return offer, so currently have nothing lined up except for potentially an accounting grad scheme at EY (at final round). I’ve just been offered a place on Cambridge’s MPhil in finance and economics programme, and want to know whether putting myself ~£30k in debt is worth it just to try and break in, and how much easier it is from a target vs semi-target uni? I would be applying to equity research and consulting roles
