How to find job opportunities ?

Hello guys,

I recently graduated from a top european business school and despite having some experience (notably PE and Structured Debt), I'm struggling to fin opportunities.

What I mean is that I don't know where to look. Once you've listed all the big banks and their graduate program as well as the big 4, I start to run short of ideas. I know I'm missing so many good companies but I just don't know them so do you know a way to have a better overview of the market ? Mapping / listing of companies by sector / type / department ? or any other source that could be useful to help me widen my scope ?

Btw, I'm currently looking for a job in France but the economy there is very sluggish and opportunities are limited so I'm planning to move to the UK; But once again, I've never been there and I have a limited knowledge of the opportunities there.

Cheers

It sounds like your asking someone to go through the diligence of listing out all opportunities in the UK and France, aside from the large banks. My suggestion is that you search for MM or boutique firms in the locations you are interested in. Also we need more information to assist you in identifying issues such as how long you've been working in PE.
