How to research companies for career fair (Is this enough info)

I have a career fair tomorrow with about 50 employers coming in and about 15 I want to talk to.

Is this enough information to know in case a company asks so tell me what you know.

For example for PNC if I said something like
"Your company provides both a wide range of services from personal and institutional banking to wealth management. I am also aware that you have a global footprint with offices ranging from Pittsburgh to Paris.

I am interested in applying to XYZ internship and was wondering if you can go more in depth as to what the job entails because it was a little vague in the job description."

Would that be good enough?

Insider tips: prepare for a job fair

You don’t have to know everything about a company to have

Make it a point to 'connect' with the person if you can. If they like you, they will make an effort to put your resume first.

Don't be insincere, just try and make an otherwise routing conversation more personal if you can.

They may decide to hire you based on just that (this has happened to me) despite other candidates being more qualified on paper.

Know everything you can about them and try to be up to date on current events.

Simply put: Yes, that is enough. For a career fair, it is not even that necessary, but giving recruiters little "hints" that you have read up on the company and current events is always a good thing. For current events, I like to use google news and just search for the company.

Just be conversant in a few major topics they've been in the news recently for, and demonstrate an interest in the firm by familiarizing yourself with opportunities there. If you come across as sincere and knowledgeable enough you'll be golden; no one who's gonna be at a career fair expects (or wants to see) you be 110% committed to them and them alone.

I am permanently behind on PMs, it's not personal.
