How to transition from a non-target university with a humanities major to a career in finance?

Hello, I am currently 22 years old. I have no real world experience and desperately need guidance. Earned a B.A degree with honors, though I doubt that means much owing to the fact that I majored in English Literature. Thank you to whoever answers in advance; I’m more than willing to put my profile weaknesses on a public forum if there is even a slight chance that I can gain insights into the world of finance and the paths you all took to get where you currently are. Thanks again.

Hello there, I think because my account is so new that I am being prevented from posting the link to my resume. Any general advice going forward for someone in my position?
