HR Department
Hey guys,
I've been recently hired but was asked by the HR department to send my resume in (soon after I was hired). Why would they ask this of me? Should I be worried?

I wouldn't be be worried automatically. They may just want a copy of it for their company records. If you were recently hired and you didn't lie about anything in the resume, I don't really see any reason for worry. But that's just my opinion.
doesn't the hiring manager (person that hired me) send in the resume to them?
