I-Banking Resume QUESTION!!!
How would you mention a transaction that hasn't been announced yet? Is that allowed? Allowed to mention transaction size? anyone have sample text with that portion of their resume? thanks.
Sure it is allowed. I currently have 3 deals in exclusivity and have been awarded the mandate on a 4th. My resume has a ton of the following in a "transactional experience" category:
Worked as sole analyst on the pending sale of Project ABC, a provider of XYZ services to so-and-so industry, to financial buyer DEF for $1 billion.
Of course, if it makes the deal blatently obvious, you need to cover it up a bit. Use your judgment.
