I emailed a VP on Saturday (probably a mistake), no response yet, should I send another email today or give it more time?
I met this person before. They are a friend of a good family friend. I would normally wait, but seeing as it's late March, I'm afraid every day that goes by there's less of a chance I can get an interview.

Good approach. Some people say a week but for a high level person, that email is going to be lost forever if they didn't initially respond, so emailing 3-4 days later shouldn't be an issue.
