I have an Interview!

I am extremely excited to write, after much work, that I have landed at interview at a local boutique. During our phone interview we did not discuss if the job was to be paid or not. What is the best way, during the interview, to approach asking for the job to be paid. I will take the job if it isn't paid, so I don't want to risk losing any chance at the job by pushing to hard for a paid position.

Btw it is customary to bring in a copy of my resume, how many should i bring?

mikerrWhat if they ask would I be ok with it being a non-paid position, how should I handle that?

tell them to suck it

If its the only thing you have..which it seems like it is. Do not do this... unpaid experience> no experience.

The answer to your question is 1) network 2) get involved 3) beef up your resume 4) repeat -happypantsmcgee WSO is not your personal search function.

If you're OK working unpaid, I wouldn't even ask until after you have the job offer (and they'd probably tell you when describing the job offer anyways).
