IB Analyst Recruiting - Need Help, Anyone Hiring?

Hi All,

I am a second year IB analyst in Canada looking to make a lateral move to the US, and I keep hearing all this stuff about so many job openings but I can't even get an interview. I originally had no network in finance, just by sheer determination and countless cold calls I had someone help me get an interview for a role at a good bank up here. I am trying to do the same thing for the US but am falling flat on my face every time, and I am at a breaking point because I have been at it for 6 months. In addition to that, I have been in the office throughout the pandemic so networking and interviewing is just so tough especially when you are at a small shop, things get suspicious. If anyone can offer any advice on what to do that would be much appreciated, I feel like the walls are closing in and I am at a dead end.

Over PM I am more than happy to discuss my resume and qualifications if your group/bank has an opening.

Thank you
