I can tell you that a lot of the BB's run these off-cycle internships in their London offices. I don't know if that's what you are referring to. I can be able to help you out, but it depends on what are you are applying to. I know that JP and GS have been advertising their off-cycle internship s in structured products. Is this what you are refering to?

If anyone has info on other autumn interships in London (Lehman, Credit Suisse, Merril Lynch) I would be grateful to receive info!

I am interested mostly in the competitivness compared to the summer programs.

as far as I can remember these off-cycle internships were originally created for students coming from mainland Europe, who did not have time during the summers due to their diverse curriculum. I know that in these programs you get the same work to do as in the summer, but there are not as many events that usually come along with a summer internship (think of training, socializing events etc.) However I do think this is an excellent opportunity to get a foot in the door, especially since the competition for a spot isn't as huge as in the summer and chances of starting a career are roughly the same.

Thank you for the answer. I am also from a non-UK country and the autumn program would be a grea fit. Hope things will work out!
