IB Career

I am a sophomore finance major at Case Western Reserve University and I have a 3.0 GPA. I didn't perform well academically freshmen year which didn't help me. I am a hard worker and I will probably be looking at around a 3.5 GPA by the end of this school year. I'm very eager to learn and I've started teaching myself valuation. I really want to pursue a career in investment banking, specifically M&A, because I think the concept is really interesting. I was wondering what my chances are of making it. I was also wondering what it takes to make it in the banking world. I'd appreciate any tips and advice.
