IB Career advice

Hello,

I am a junior applying for Summer Internships. My primary goal is to get into Investment Banking but unfortunately could not get an IB summer internship. I do have a couple of summer analyst offers. I am having trouble to decide which experience on my resume would be more helpful while I am looking for full time investment banking jobs after the summer internship.

1) Barclays Capital Summer Analyst - Finance Division - $59000 prorated or $28.63 per hour.

2) Bank of America Global Wealth and Investment Analyst Intern program - Global Investment Solutions Group . $70000 prorated or $33.65 per hour.

Thanks in advance for any helpful insights.

I"m not experienced enough to tell which of those offers is better... But I can confirm that the salary difference, especially when the two are so close, should not factor into your decision if your primary goal is to break into IBD
