IB recruiting as an international student
Hey all, I am currently at a semi-target and really want to get into IBD. in the US However, I am an international student and need visa sponsorship which is turning out to be very tough. Several great banks have stopped sponsoring international students. Anecdotally, from upperclassmen there have been couple of internationals who have broken in but they have gone through diversity programs which I do not qualify for. My profile is pretty good but not extremely unique (3.8 GPA, bunch of investment clubs, 2 finance internships and case comps).
