IB Summer Analyst Offer
Hey everyone- soph at a non-target here, going through recruitment process right now. Got an offer today for 2023 SA role in IBD at RBC/BMO. Had great conversations with ppl from bank so far and very excited about the opportunity. Acceptance deadline is 4/18 and I won't be able to interview with any other banks by then. Looking for opinions: should I take the offer or decline and keep applying/interviewing for BB/EB? What difference does it really make between upper-tier MM and EB/BB?
Are you in any other interview processes? If so, you could tell them you have an exploding offer & maybe they can fast track your process.
If not, then it’s risky to decline and keep recruiting. What if you don’t get an offer from one of them? Can always lateral.
Quit being greedy and take the damn offer dude Jesus. Cmon.
I see no issue here. They’re just trying to give themselves options and do what’s best for their career. I respect it
