If I lateral from DCM to lev fin or a coverage group then do I have to restart as AN0
Pretty much title. I don’t want to stay in DCM after my current internship but nothing is guaranteed. In the situation that I stay in DCM for a year in full time and I lateral to the groups mentioned above, do I have to restart as a AN0 or can I stay in my level?
You'll likely have to step back to an AN1 again for a coverage role (very different day-to-day). Likely to remain on track if you transfer to Lev Fin - just perform very well and network with Lev Fin team during your first year.
